Surgical procedures have become more complex requiring surgeons to learn new skills quickly without interfering with operating room efficiencies or jeopardising the patient care. This is a major problem especially for young surgeons at the beginning of their career.

Held in Switzerland each year, the Davos Course for Gastrointestinal Surgery offers scientific sessions and practical exercises to surgeons so that they may develop their practical skills and theoretical knowledge of standard surgical techniques, in both conventional and laparoscopic surgery.

At this years’ event held in April, our Swiss distributor presented the Purple Surgical Laparoscopic Portfolio to attending surgeons, including our Ultimate Trocars and Essentials Plus Laparoscopic instruments.

This was a valuable opportunity for attending surgeons who may not have previously been familiar with our range, to assess the Purple Surgical portfolio against their usual options.

The alliance between Purple Surgical and our distributor in the Swiss market is offering surgeons and hospitals a British manufactured alternative in high quality laparoscopic instruments and devices.
