Last December, two members of the Purple Surgical team joined a leading bariatric consultant on a first-hand study visit to China, travelling to hospitals in both Shanghai and Beijing to witness powered stapling technology in action.
The trip offered an invaluable opportunity to observe the innovation being used in live theatre settings. Since returning home, the consultant has moved quickly. With no time wasted, he has already begun integrating the product into his practice – a testament to both the technology’s appeal and his enthusiasm for adopting innovation that can make a genuine difference.
