Purple Surgical's History
Cory Bros established – September 15th Mortimer street - Central London

Cory Bros and Hospital and General contracts ltd amalgamated.

Royal warrant received to supply the royal household.

Moved to bigger premises in Finchley, London.

Robert Sharpe bought the business still the current custodian.

Moved from wholesale to focus of General surgery, laparoscopic, Urology and Gynaecology.

Formed Purple Surgical international Ltd.

Cory Medical Established became a UK Manufactuer based in Taunton, Somerset.

Moved to Shenley, Hertfordshire Head Office where we are today.

Incorporated a specialist injection moulding company in our Taunton production facility.

New warehouse management system.

Company name changed to Purple Surgical – incorporating Cory Medical, Cory Bros and Purple Surgical International.

Established our first international subsidiary in South Africa

International business expanded to over 100 markets.

Introduced our first robotics into manufacturing.

Started measuring our carbon footprint and making sustainability changes including solar panels and wind farm technology at the factory.

Increased to 6000 pallet capacity over our 2 warehouses in Taunton, Somerset.

Celebrated 20 years of manufacturing in Taunton, Somerset.
