We are delighted to be working with International Tree Foundation (ITF) to plant more trees across the world, as part of their global commitment to regenerating and cultivating our natural habitat.
ITF are committed to the protection, regeneration and cultivation of forests, combating desertification and promoting forestry.
They are the perfect partner for us as their philosophy compliments our own commitment to working with local communities and reducing the impact on the environment from our manufacturing activities.
Working in partnerships with local organisations across the UK and Africa, ITF supports community forestry projects. Their sustainable approach to forestry provides food and income for local people, improves soil and water quality, and addresses environmental issues such as habitat restoration.
Help to reduce waste and plant trees with the Purple Surgical Laparoscopic Procedure Kits
In 2017, we launched a campaign with our Laparoscopic Procedure Kits with the aim of reducing the volume of packaging waste produced per procedure and thus reducing the impact on the environment.
We have produced a range of specially sticker-ed kits and for every one of them used we will plant one tree with ITF.
Send us a selfie with your stickered kit and we will plant a further four trees. Send your selfie to firstname.lastname@example.org
This will mean that you will directly contribute to the planting of up to 30,000 trees over the next 18 – 24 months (T&C’s apply. 1 photo per kit accepted).
This campaign is great for the environment and ITF, and ties in perfectly with our commitment to promote the reduction of packaging waste, aligning with the NHS BAS Environment & Resource Efficiency Strategy and Action Plan 2017/18.
