Description:

The Purple Surgical Ultimate Endoscopic Linear Cutter Stapler places two, triple staggered rows of titanium staples and simultaneously cuts and divides the tissue between the two rows. The universal handle is available in 3 shaft lengths; 6cm, 16cm and 26cm accommodating 30mm, 45mm and 60mm straight reloading units.

Features and benefits include:

  • Gentle tissue compression before firing minimises tissue trauma and supports repositioning
  • Cutting knife housed within the reloading unit guarantees even distance between anvil and cartridge as it passes through the tissue for consistent, leak free staple formation
  • Cartridge lock out safety mechanism prevents use of fired reloading units
  • Universal handle available in three size options and compatible with all Purple Surgical reloading units
  • Strong, thin anvil for simple and easy insertion
  • Tissue stop prevents tissue from passing over the cut mark ensuring effective staple formation of compressed tissue
  • Secure loading mechanism locks reloading units firmly into the shaft of the universal handle by twisting 45° clockwise. To unload, pull back on the unload button and twist the reloading unit 45° counter clockwise
  • Single handed finger rotation wheel provides 360° revolutions
  • Incorporates a safety interlock preventing the device from being fired until the green ‘Pre-Fire’ button has been pressed and prevents the firing of used reloads
  • Ergonomic firing handle with rubber grip for surgeon comfort and control
  • The Return lever releases anvil to allow for re-positioning of tissue
  • The Ultimate Endoscopic Linear Cutter Stapler Universal Handle can be fired up to 25 times during a single procedure

Ultimate Endoscopic Linear Cutter Stapler Reloading Units

  • Available in White (2.5mm), Blue (3.5mm), Gold (4.2mm), Green (4.8mm) and Black (5.0mm) for varying tissue thicknesses
  • White (2.5mm), Blue (3.5mm) and Gold (4.2mm) reloading units fit through Purple Surgical’s Ultimate 12mm Trocars. Green (4.8mm) and Black (5.0mm) reloading units require insertion through a 15mm Trocar
  • Each reloading unit houses a sharp knife blade to ensure a clean cut on every firing
  • Staple gap control allows for consistent staple formation as the cutting knife proceeds through the transected tissue
  • Cut mark lines to clearly indicate where tissue will be transected
  • Wide jaw aperture to facilitate easy manipulation and placement of tissue
  • 6 rows of staggered staples
  • Gentle closure of anvil to cartridge reduces tissue trauma
